In a world surrounded by the constant pressure and stress of day-to-day life an increasing number of us are starting to feel the negative impacts of this stress upon our immune systems which in turn is creating a constant imbalance in our bodies. The answer lies in correcting this imbalance, and mindfulness can help everyone in achieving this goal. By practicing mindfulness one can help defuse negativity, aggression and turbulent emotions.
Through the art of meditation one can learn that the correct posture not only helps form a more inspiring environment but, it also alleviates stress and promotes relaxation both physically and mentally. A connection exists between the posture of the body and the attitude of the mind. Mind and body are interrelated; the inner energy or ‘Chi’ arises naturally once your posture and attitude are inspired.
Self-awareness is a conscious knowledge of one’s own character, feelings, motives and desires. Through developing and understanding these significant elements and how they can influence our actions and choices, it is then possible to unlock our own lives and handle challenging emotions so that they don’t overpower us. Poor health, demeaning career, or destructive relationships are all damaging situations that must be and can be unconditionally overcome.
